Sweating Outcomes
Do you worry about work? No, I don't just mean whether or not you worry about getting/losing a job (although that's certainly part of it), but instead mean whether or not you are the type of person who sweats the outcomes of almost each and every situation you face at work. Maybe you're in Sales and you're faced with reaching a specific budget or quota each month. Maybe you're in Staffing and you regularly worry about getting enough New Hires in each week. Maybe you're a Senior Manager or a Small Business Owner and you constantly stress about generating enough cash flow and revenue. How should Christians in the marketplace respond to such things? In the previous podcast messages, we've been talking about how important it is for Christians to understand that their life is their witness. One of the most common mission fields today is a person's place of employment. What is your attitude and behavior saying about your faith with others you work with? That was last time on KBR. Today, we continue to focus a little more on ourselves and our shortcomings and ask whether or not 'sweating outcomes' is Biblical behavior for us in the workplace.
